Rocco Di Marzo was born in 1942 in Frattamaggiore (Naples) where he lives and works at present. He studied at "Accademia delle Belle Arti" in Naples.
He is an Art and Design professor at "Liceo Scientifico E.FERMI" high school in Aversa.
Since 1960 he has been actively participating, in the national art context, at several art initiaves and exhibitions for different Cultural and Art Associations.
His personal exhibitions have been held in the most important Italian towns and cities, always with positive criticism.

Antologies, magazines, annual editions, newspapers and other published editions were interested in his works and art, e.g.:

• “Il Mercato Artistico dell'800 e 900”, Casa editrice Nazionale, Turin 1976;

In May 2001 Arté, a monthly specialized magazine, published by Mondadori, will publish one page entirely dedicated to the Artist.
The Artist is actually preparing his "Antology" exhibition for the second half of 2001.
